Since the automobile is all electric, it needs a charging port to replace the gas line. With that said, it would make sense to place the charging port in the same location that you would assume that a gas cap will go. At least in the US, there is no requirement on where the gas cap, or charging port goes. I will always assume on the driver’s side. This uniformed location will make it easier for someone to get used to where the charging port is.
As for the connection itself, FSP Autos will be using the same plug standard as what would be recognized throughout the world. This is unlike Tesla where they use a proprietary charging port so their charging stations will only charge Tesla vehicles. If I had my own country, then the charging port will meet with international standards.
